So you want to go trekking in the France. The country has an immense amount to offer, not only rekking trails but also local culture. The ffod is amazing, you will be eating hearty dinners of good stake, well cooked game and many birds. The famous french Merlot is a must and will wet your appetite as is the local cheese. Eat too much and you end up having very strange dreams! Just what you want after a days walking around the french countryside.

France has a lot to offer you could go walking in toulouse, lyon, the alps, chamonix, morzine, paris, bordeux and many other places await you.

Trekking Holidays in UK

Option 1
If you would like to go llama trekking in Brittany, France you will need good boots and rain wear as necessary for your trek. In the summer months a hat and sun screen is recommended.

Option 2
The spectacular circuit around Mont-Blanc, one of the world's classic hikes, demands some respect. From the massif of Mont Blanc (4801m- the highest mountain in western Europe), seven valleys extend into France, Italy and Switzerland. Each valley retains its own unique culture, architecture and landscape and it's through these valleys we will hike. Each day we hike up to the ridges and descend into valleys below, with time to enjoy views of glaciers, green mountain meadows and snow capped peaks.
This is a mountain trip where we cross passes above 2700m walking an average of 5 to 7 hours a day so you need to be in good physical condition.

Option 3
In winter the area usually gets more snow than any other in the Pyrenees (often more than the Alps). Most years the snow sits on the hills until the end of April, while the proximity to the Mediterranean results in a more stable climate.

Option 4
If you choose a longer break your holiday can consist of a number of full day horse activities and treks at the farm base, or we can organise a horse trekking holiday starting at the farm and following a different trail each day.
