So you want to go trekking in the UK. Well first you have to choose between, Scotland, Wales or England. Each offer amazing choices and unforgettable holidays. Scotland is more wild and you feel the elements more. It is colder and windier but the hiegths are higher and more stark.
trekkign in Wales is like going into 'Lord of the Rings'. The landscape is similar to new zealand. you can smell the history of the place and the warmth of the people. England is beuatiful but does not have the stunning views of scotland or Wales. In England you will find, beautiful little villages and country side places that will take you back hundreds of years. The treks are easy and more forgiving in comparison, which is always worth considering.

Trekking Holidays in UK

Option 1
Take a guided tour through the stunning hills and heather moors of Atholl. Following old drover tracks, perhaps catching a glimpse of roe deer, grouse and red squirrels as buzzards fly overhead. The ride will be guided by Hamish, an estate ghillie, who will be able to answer questions on stalking and heather management. The two hour ride is suitable for all riders.

Option 2
We can offer you two different types of riding: pony treks for beginners or those wishing a quietish ride, and hacks for the more experienced. Fully trained guides are responsible for both types of ride. 2-day and 3-day trail rides are available too

Option 3
Ride along the beach taking in the views along the way. Stop for a picnic whilst your horse takes a rest. Ride along the harbour wall and round Hodbarrow nature reserve. You return along the grassy bankings that surround the estuary and then a final climb over po-house hills enjoying the spectacular scenery as you go. This ride is suitable for experienced riders comfortable in all paces, and lasts approx. 6.5 hours.

Option 4
These weekends benefit our guests in many ways. The first is getting up in the hills and walking for a few days, in a mountain environment and terrain looking at fitness, walking pace etc. The second is talking through all medical issues and questions you may have regarding altitude, heat problems, foot issues and so forth.
